Camp Brainard

Hi! I went to Camp Brainard. Camp Brainard is a Presbyterian camp. It is very fun. We had worship services, kayaked, played games and did other fun stuff. I loved the creek walk best. At camp there is so much to do! I slept on the top bunk of a bunk bed! It was really fun even though there was a 50% chance of me falling off! I shared a bunk with my friend Shelby who is also from my church. I also made a new friend. Her name is Marlo. She has two little sisters: Cali, and.... Lena! (not me). The pool was also fun. It had a fountain and the pool was right next to my cabin! We had a campfire on the last night. We had gooey s'mores too. The creek walk was the best!

Barnston Here I Come

Hi! You know how I went to Wayne ,NE? Well, I went to Barnston ,NE too! we stayed at my aunt Angie and Uncle Ronnie's house. They have two kids, Shelby and Austin. They are both younger then me. We went to the pool and it was awesome! There was a twisty slide, which was sweet. We also saw my cousins Riley and Carson. It was fun to see all of my cousins. As for meals roughly every other meal we went to my Grandma and Grandpa March's house to eat. I also fell in love with a cute kitten named Precious. I went on a tractor ride too. The main reasons we were in Barnston were to visit family and mom's 20th high school reunion. So that's the story of of Barnston.

Nebraska, I love you: Wayne

On July 9th My Family and I went to Nebraska! It was Fun! First we went to my granparents on my dad's side. There we went to the movie "Despicable Me". We watched two more movies and I baked 4 loaves of zucchini bread with my Grandpa. It was gone in 4 days! While we were there we went to the pool. I jumped off a 10 foot high diving board! We also went to the Wayne Chicken show. there was a parade a lots of fun games. I also picked peas at my great-aunt Betty and great uncle Darrel's house. I had loads of fun at Grandma & Grandpa Heier's!

Clues: hair short! I my got hair cut!!!!!!! :) I cut off 8 inches of my hair. It is cute! It is longer in the front and shorter in the back. When I got it cut the hair dresser said " are you sure?" And I said" Yes!". Meanwhile Mom is freaking out "eek". I walked into school and my friends said "Ahh! You cut your hair" and I was a "celebrity" for the rest of the day.

Tales of a Parkland Play

Hi! I went to a play at Parkland High School to watch a play. "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing" to be exact. It was so fun! There was a part when the little brother eats a turtle! There also was a part when a birthday guest pees on the floor! The Field trip was an-all-third-grade-Field trip. It was really fun!

New Yorky-yesterday (and today)

Yesterday I went to New York city! I went to the American girl store. We went to the cafe, and the actual store. I got another American girl doll, Julie , she is the seventies girl. We also went to central park. There I went down a big stone slide. It was fun! I went to New York with my friend ,Whitney Hillandbrand, her cousin, Shalen, their moms and my mom. then on our way home we stoped by a burger king , I got chicken nuggets, and fries. Today I watched 2 & 1/2 movies. Toy stories 1 ,and 2 ,and the Princess Bride.

Happy birthday Lena!

Today was my birthday. I am 9 years old today! I went to Bear creek. It was so fun! I got my nails and my toes painted. I also went in the hot tub. The only thing I didn't like was the steam room. I also went to Texas road house. I got to "Saddle Up" . For dinner I had mac and cheese and mashed potatoes.

Phili-friday

On Friday we went to Philadelphia. I saw so much! I saw the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall. I also went to Franklin Fountain. Franklin Fountain is an awesome ice cream place. My dad and I shared a Mt. Vesuvius! A Mt. Vesuvius is a giant ice cream sundae!

We also went to the U.S. Mint, the place where they make U.S. coins. At the Mint, Brett let his fingers go on a little ride on the conveyor belt, and he got his fingers stuck! Ouch! So, he got the back room tour of the Mint. Also he got a police badge ,and a police patch. Other then that, the tour was fun. So thats what I did on Friday.

Sunday Goings On

Hi! I had a busy day yesterday. I got my picture taken. Brett did too. Like I said yesterday, I was getting my picture taken in my super cute dress. Brett was probably the most charming kid in there! I'm not kidding! The photogropher took a toy monkey and put it on her head, to make Brett laugh. She also said "Pickle Nose!" That even made me laugh! We went to our friend's house for dinner. I played "ship" with the family's two daughters; Shelby, and Kaitie. Kaitie is 5, and Shelby is 8. We also played tag for what seemed like 2 seconds. We played "Ghost-in-the-Graveyard" for two minutes. We had salmon, chicken, broccoli, applesauce:), potatoes, and ice cream! We went to Barnes & Noble and I picked out 7 books.

Mother's Day! Hooray

Happy Mother's day! This morning we (Brett and I) made our mom breakfast! We also gave her plenty of presents! Mom slept in, so we didn't go to church. I snuck in Mom and Dad's room ,and Mom, Dad, and Brett were all cuddled up! It was so cute! We are going to get our picture taken. I'm going to get MY picture taken in this Super Cute dress. I still have to take a shower. Hope all you moms out there are having a great Mother's day!:)

Big Birthday party

Hey! I just had a b-day party! It was so fun! I got a bunch of presents! I got a volleyball, some books, a ton of Barnes and Noble gift cards, a shirt, a SUPER CUTE dress, earrings, clothes, silly bandz, nail polish, and even an unpainted birdhouse! I had almost 40 people come! We played kickball and set up things all over! {croquet,bachi,etc..} We had a volleyball net too. My party was so fun. We had awesome cupcakes and decor. There was a bunch of cupcakes. They all went in people's stomachs! My mom bought paper lanterns {shown below} to hang on our pergola. We also had little torches. Everyone loved it. We had a volleyball net. While we were playing kickball my friend, Jackson , kicked the ball and skimmed me on the arm! It hurt!!!! I almost got around the bases, but someone but someone got me out. URG! I mean, you just got the birthday girl out! Anyway, I could pick the game, and get the silly bandz people found on the ground. Silly Bandz are colored rubber bands shaped like things. I had sooo much fun. That's my story of my b-day party.
